Magnolia Wand Making

I started on the Magnolia wands yesterday . . I have used aluminum and bamboo knitting needles for the core . I havent decided what i am wrapping them with yet ..but i do picture  some wire work and stones . once i have wrapped them .

I had a few yarn scraps to use up today so i made a couple of dog collars ....Thatcher came over to visit and cheer me up this week. I have been barely able to walk and will be out on short term leave while i try to get better. I am not dealing well with this not able to get up and around and walk. 

As you can see i think he quite enjoyed himself.:)
Here he is patiently awaiting his payment of a dog biscuit .....

Just about used up the last of my yarn stash creating hats now ..might be able to get 2 more :)  I really like the look of the vintage mother of pearl buttons added to the hats. These are from my grannie's button tin.Time to use them in projects rather than keep locked away in a button tin....... 

I did a little wire wrapping also this week ......
